The project wasn’t about redesigning from scratch—it was about extending an established digital platform into a new seasonal experience while maintaining the structure and visual consistency that already worked.
Key challenges included:
- Expanding the platform with new pages focused on summer programs, destinations, and student experiences
- Adapting the existing structure to communicate La Mia Estate’s seasonal travel offerings
- Improving navigation and content organization as new programs and destinations were introduced
- Maintaining full visual and structural consistency with the existing Giocamondo ecosystem
Goal
Create a scalable, user-friendly experience that makes it easier for students and families to explore, compare, and understand La Mia Estate’s summer programs and travel experiences—while maintaining consistency with the established platform and brand system.
My Role
I worked as the developer responsible for both front-end structure and custom functionality, using:
- WordPress + Elementor for layout and page building
- PHP for backend customization
- JavaScript for dynamic interactions
- Custom CSS for design refinement and responsiveness
The Solution
The final result was a set of well-structured, scalable pages that extend the established platform into the La Mia Estate summer experience while maintaining a consistent visual and functional foundation.
The new experience makes it easier for students and families to discover summer destinations, explore available programs, and understand the different travel experiences through a clear and structured interface.
The implementation also provides a flexible foundation that can support additional destinations, programs, and seasonal content as the platform continues to grow.
